What we have for you here is a wonderful choice of sets if you are picked as the winner of this competition and you are even just a little bit interesting in things that leave the ground. You can choose from the following,
Lego Icons 10318 Concorde. I need this set. It has 2083 pieces and the wheels can be opened and closed and the nose moved up or down. It is over 1m long and 43cm wide. There must be an aftermarket stand available that would make this a great display piece. This set has a RRP of £169.99 and is classed as an 18+ set.
Lego Ideas 92176 NASA Apollo Saturn V Rocket. I am always amazed how big this set appears when you see it in the flesh. It has 1969 pieces and i think this is close to 1m tall or it can be displayed sideways. People make some great displays with these as well making them look like they are taking off. Google it. This set is now retired and prices are around £185 from it’s retail price of £104.99. This is classed as a 14+ set.
Lego Icons 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery. I love the look of this set and it can be displayed in a few ways. It also contains a model of the Hubble Telescope. It has 2354 pieces and measures 21cm tall, 34cm wide and 54cm long. I want this but don’t know whether I ever will. Other sets just keep getting in the way. This is also now retired. RRP was £169.99 I think. This is classed as an 18+ set.
