It feels like forever since we did a BIG Harry Potter Competition and some of you have been asking. This competition gives the winner a choice of 3 Amazing sets to choose from if you win. So what can you choose from.
1, The Original. LEGO 71043 Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle. I still look at this and I am blown away every time. It looks fantastic. The set has 6020 pieces so will be a great long lasting build. The only let down for me would be there are only 4 proper minifigures which are, Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Salazar Slytherin and Rowena Ravenclaw. There are lots of microfigures. When built it measures 69cm wide and 58cm tall. It is rated as 18+ and has a RRP of £409.99.
2, LEGO 75978 Harry Potter Diagon alley. I do love how colourful this is and all the shops look brilliant. It has 5544 pieces. I do love it when a building isn’t just flat and the interior detail is very detailed. When built this set measures over 1m long. WOW. This set does come with lots of lovely minifigures. 14 of them in total. It is rated as 18+ and has now retired. When available it had a RRP of £389.99. It’s now sadly retired.
3, LEGO 76417 Harry Potter Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors Edition. What’s not to love and it has a sort of Roller Coaster. This set has 4801 pieces and has 13 minifigures which is a nice amount. When built this set stands a whopping 79cm tall and 40 cm wide. This thing will make a great display piece but it also has a bit of play with it. It is rated as 18+ and has a RRP of £369.99. They are currently on back order so I don’t know how much longer this set will be available. It feels like retirement is looming.
